Dr. Khamish Malhotra is a research scholar at University of Glamorgan, UK. He holds Ph.D in Information Security over Wireless Networks (Secure Remote Patient Monitoring Applications over Wireless Technologies) at the Faculty of Advanced Technology, University of Glamorgan, UK. He has a Dip. Engineering in Medical Electronics, a B.Eng in Electronics Engineering from Nagpur Univ. (1999), an M.Sc in Computing and Performance Engineering from University of Bradford, UK (2003). He has got publications on his name in various telecommunications and IT journals, conferences and magazines related to data security and cryptography algorithms. He has worked as a part-time lecturer at Faculty of Advanced Technology, University of Glamorgan and also worked on different Software Specialist roles for over twelve years in the industry. He is currently a member of Institution of Engineering and Technology and International Association of Engineers.

His areas of research are Cryptographic Algorithms, Information Security, Remote Sensors, Wireless Remote Monitoring, Open Source Technologies, Web Design and Development, Use of Multimedia over Mobile Networks, VoIP, Mobile Computing, Search Engines, Cloud Computing, Unified Communications and Network Security.
